치매안심마을이란? Korea's first dementia relief village?

치매환자와 그 가족이 사회에서 고립되지 않고 원래 거주지에 살면서 지역주민과 함께 안전한 생활을 할 수 있도록 주변환경을 조성한 마을이다. 네덜란드에선 이미 시행중인 개념이다.

12월 9일 경남도 광역치매센터는 함안군 대산면 대암마을을 치매안심마을로 조성해 최근 현판식을 열었다고 밝혔다. 도내 시·군을 대상으로 치매안심마을 공모에 나서 신청 마을 6곳 중 대암마을을 대상지로 선정했다.지난 8월부터 대암마을 내 대암·입사·능곡 부락 주민을 대상으로 설명회를 열었고 치매에 대한 사회의 부정적 인식을 바꾸는 인식개선교육과 인지재활프로그램 등을 15차례 시행했다.

치매환자 생활환경을 돕는 기억지키미, 치매 등대지기, 태양광 표지병,가스안전밸브 안전차단기와 리모콘 형광등 설치,치매극복 선도학교등 환경개선작업을 병행했다.

On Dec. 9, the Gyeongnam Province Metropolitan Dementia Center announced that it had opened a new storefront ceremony in the village of Ahnsam, where the town of Daeam, Daemam in Haman county was established.

Since August, it has held a briefing session for residents of Daeam, Ipsa and Neunggok in Daeam Village and has implemented 15 cognitive rehabilitation programs and cognitive improvement programs that change society's negative perception about dementia.

In addition, they have improved the environment such as memorization assistance, dementia lighthouse warning light, solar light valve, gas safety valve safety breaker, remote control fluorescent lamp, and school for overcoming dementia to help the living environment of dementia patients.

기억지키미/memorization assistance

대암마을에서 비교적 젊은 50대를 중심으로 5명이 치매환자를 돌보는 사람들을 말한다. 치매환자가 있는 가정과 혼자 사는 치매환자를 수시로 방문해 약을 먹었는지, 생활 불편은 없는지 챙기고 병원에 갈 때도 동행한다.

mainly younger 50s, are those who care for dementia patients. I visit families who have dementia patients and dementia patients who live alone, visit me from time to time, take medicine to see if there is any inconvenience, and go to the hospital.

치매등대지기/dementia lighthouse warning light

마을내 식당과 슈퍼등 10여곳의 장소를 말한다. 이곳엔 배회하다가 실종되는 치매환자가 발생하지 않도록 하려고 실종 치매환자 신고전화번호 등이 기재된 팻말을 출입문 등에 부착했다. 치매환자가 집을 못 찾을 때 치매등대지기를 통해 연락하거나 치매등대지기로 지정된 업주들이 배회하는 치매환자를 발견하면 즉시 신고하도록 하는 제도다.

It refers to 10 places such as restaurants and supermarkets in town. To prevent dementia patients missing while wandering around here, I attached a sign to the entrance door showing the phone number of the missing dementia patient. When a dementia patient can not find a home, they are contacted through the dementia lighthouse class, or they are notified immediately if they find a dementia patient who is wandering by designated business owners who are dementia lighthouse.

동그란 모양의 야광등 형태인 이 장치는 낮에 태양광으로 충전돼 밤에 녹색으로 빛나도록 해 치매환자들이 마을 위치를 알 수 있게 했다.밤길에 배회하는 치매환자가 길을 잃어버리지 않도록 마을 길바닥에 설치했다.

인근 함안 대산중학교를 지정했다. 치매노인을 보면 어떻게 도움을 주는지, 배회하는 치매환자는 어느 곳으로 신고하는지 등 학생들을 대상으로 치매극복교육을 함으로써 치매에 대한 인식을 개선하자는 취지다.
